Er det viktigste å bli børsnotert? Eller å lykkes på børs over tid?

NO

Still dere disse spørsmålene.

02 Lock-up

03 Likviditet

Hvordan får man god nok likviditet i aksjen slik at investorer vil kjøpe den?

04 Newsflow

06 Posisjonering

Hva skiller dere fra sammenlignbare børsnoterte selskaper investorer kjenner fra før?

07 Investorbase

Er aksjonærbasen langsiktig? Institusjonelle eiere? Grundere? Tidsperspektivet er avgjørende for troverdigheten.

08 Analytikere

Hvordan kommuniserer man med en analytiker? Hvem skal følge aksjen?

09 Forventninger

Is the most important thing to go public? Or to succeed on the stock exchange over time?

A successful listing is a milestone for everyone. But the strategy for what comes next has to be built in parallel. We support the company before, during and after the listing, staying focused on what actually determines whether life on the stock exchange becomes a success.

BeforeStructured preparation ahead of the listing
DuringCoordinated execution of the listing itself
AfterActively driving a good life on the stock exchange
What actually determines it

The path to a successful listing.

Four factors determine whether the listing becomes the start of a good life on the stock exchange. We build the foundation for each of them — long before listing day.

01

Structure & ownership

Do you have an ownership structure that balances stability with free float, a plan for lock-up expiry, and enough daily liquidity for investors to actually get in and out?

02

Investment case & positioning

Does the market understand your investment case — what sets you apart from comparable companies — and do you have a core of long-term investors, whether institutional/industrial or financial, who confirm it?

03

Communication & credibility

Do you have the capacity for ongoing market communication, enough newsflow between quarterly reports, and the ability to deliver on your guidance — so credibility builds over time?

04

Day one and beyond

Is the listing correctly priced? Is the board prepared for disclosure obligations and MAR? And do you have a concrete plan for the first 100 days? Not least: what will you do if there's little interest in the stock?

Choice of marketplace

Oslo Børs or Nasdaq Stockholm?

Choosing the right exchange isn't just about where the company is domiciled — it's about which market understands the sector, has the right investors, and prices the case best. We work with both markets, and know the differences on the sector, ownership and analyst side.

NO

Euronext Oslo Børs

A strong professional community and deep investor understanding within energy, shipping, seafood and industrials — sectors where Norwegian analysts and long-only investors lead the way.

SE

Nasdaq Stockholm

A larger and more liquid market, with broad access to international funds and an active retail segment — often best suited for tech, healthcare, fintech and consumer companies.

Many companies are simply in the wrong place — or have changed so much since listing that the original market no longer provides the right pricing. We help assess whether today's market is the right one, and build a plan for a dual listing or switching marketplace when the case calls for it.

The Questions

Is your company considering a listing? Ask yourselves these questions.

It's not the listing itself that determines whether you succeed on the stock exchange. It's the answers to the questions below. If you can't answer them well today, this is where the work should begin.

01 Ownership structure

Does your ownership structure provide both stability and enough free float for real trading in the stock?

02 Lock-up

What happens to the share price when the lock-up expires — and what's your plan for it?

03 Liquidity

How do you achieve enough liquidity in the stock for investors to want to buy it?

04 Newsflow

How will you keep the market engaged in the periods between quarterly reports?

05 Equity story

Do investors understand your investment case — or is it really only you who does?

06 Positioning

What sets you apart from comparable listed companies investors already know?

07 Investor base

Is your shareholder base long-term? Institutional owners? Founders? The time horizon is crucial for credibility.

08 Analysts

How do you communicate with an analyst? Who will cover the stock?

09 Expectations

How will you give the stock market a credible expectation of what affects the company?

10 PR capacity

What do you do when a negative article gets published? And how should you handle the media once the euphoria around listing day has passed?

11 Valuation

Are you pricing the listing correctly — and do you know how to defend the valuation to demanding investors?

12 Compliance

Are the board and management prepared for disclosure obligations and MAR from day one? What is inside information, and what isn't?

Few companies can confidently answer all twelve today — and that's completely fine. This is exactly where we start. We map out where you stand, and build a plan so the answers are in place long before the listing.

We don't work alone

Listing Ready is one team among several around the company.

We don't replace the broker, the lawyer or the auditor — we coordinate across them. Clairon ensures that strategy, timing and communication align with the legal and financial work already underway.
